If you don't have a computer, don't buy this camera. It has a non removable rechargable battery that charges off a usb port. This thing is the size of a credit card, amazing. I'm pleased with the camera. It can't come close to my much larger Canon A630 in terms of picture quality. But I didn't expect that. I bought it to carry in my pocket to grab a quick shot when I didn't want to tote a larger more expensive camera. Being so small and light, you have to be very steady with it, so as not to blur the shot. At it's highest of three resolution choices it will hold 10 shots in it's internal memory. With a 128 SD card(the largest Philips recomends) it will take 73 shots.
