I really like how this lens hood screws on to the camera - the reason I bought it. I'm tired of messing with those flimsy lens hoods with the little screw that is supposed to tighten it on. However, when I put it on and zoom all the way out on my Canon GL2, you can see the corners of the lens hood! For a lens hood that advertises itself as being specifically for a DV camcorder, I find this totally unacceptable. At first I just thought it was because I had it screwed on to my UV filter, pushing the hood out a bit. But even without the filter, I still see the corners (although it is much worse with a filter on). If they would have just not angled the corners, or not angled them so much, it would have been perfect. As is, I'm going to have to get creative and cut out a section of the angle on each corner.
